Use Prisoner Vest Number 18, Hasto Ready To Listen To Prosecutors' Demands
The Secretary General of the PDI-P, Hasto Kristiyanto, stated that he was ready to listen to the duties of the Public Prosecutor (JPU) in the trial of the alleged bribery case for handling changes between the time (PAW) of the DPR for the 2019-2024 period and the obstruction of Harun Masiku's investigation.
This statement was made by Hasto before undergoing a trial held at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, Thursday, July 3.
"Since the beginning when I wore this orange vest, I happened to be number 18, I wore it with the belief that the truth will win Satiam Eva Jayate. That's why today I also confidently participated in the trial with the agenda of hearing the demands of the public prosecutor," said Hasto.
According to him, the indictment prepared by the prosecutor is the result of recycling from a case that has permanent legal force or inkrah in 2020. Therefore, the case that ensnared him was considered legal engineering.
"Because in the facts of this trial it has been revealed that the re-introduction process carried out against decisions that have been signed in 2020 turns out that there are so many legal engineering. There is no legal fact that directs the indictment from the prosecutor," he explained.
"But we also understand the task of the general closing. That the public prosecutor must have an obligation to prove it, but yes, his job is demanding," continued Hasto.
Despite reading the charges, Hasto stated that he had completed compiling a memorandum of defense or plea which would be read out at the next trial next week.
"The important thing is that I have completed the good news, I have completed the plea, I just need to adjust the demands from the prosecutor and next week I am ready to read them with various references that show the importance of the moral of law, the importance of due processes of law," said Hasto.

This bribe is so that Wahyu seeks the KPU to approve the application of PAW for the South Sumatra Election Candidate (Sumsel) I on behalf of DPR members for the 2019-2024 period Riezky Aprilia to Harun Masiku.
