The Signing Of MoM DKT Kukukuh Indonesia As Saudi Arabia's Strategic Partner
JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Crown Prince and Saudi Arabian Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud signed the Minutes of Meeting (MoM) of Indonesia's Highest Coordination Council (DKT) Saudi Arabia.
This was done in a high-level bilateral meeting on President Prabowo's state visit to Saudi Arabia at the Al-Salam Palace, Jeddah, Wednesday 2 June
This meeting is a strategic step for relations between the two countries through the platform of the Highest Coordination Board.
On this state visit to Saudi Arabia, President Prabowo and Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) held a one-on-one meeting, and continued with bilateral meetings with delegates from the two countries to discuss key issues of mutual concern.
In the bilateral meeting, the two leaders at the same time held the inaugural meeting of the DKT and the signing of the MoM.
One of the contents of the MoM is the governance of the DKT, which will become the framework of the DKT institutional reference and will then be coordinated by the two Foreign Ministers.
The signing of the MoM DKT is a monumental achievement that strengthens Indonesia's position as one of Saudi Arabia's strategic partners in the Southeast Asia region.
The DKT format has also been implemented by Saudi Arabia in its strategic relations with the United States and China.
This historic meeting ended with a state banquet organized by Prince MBS as a form of respect for President Prabowo.

The Indonesian Government Delegation which attended the bilateral meeting consisted of Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/CEO Danantara Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Indonesian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Abdul Aziz Ahmad, and Head of Hajj Management Agency M. Irfan Yusuf.
