President Prabowo Discusses Increased Bilateral Cooperation To World Situation With Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince
JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto discussed increasing bilateral cooperation to the international situation when meeting the Crown Prince and Saudi Arabian Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Wednesday.
Prince MBS welcomed President Prabowo at the Al-Salam Palace, Jeddah to then attend the state welcoming ceremony, quoted from the Saudi Press Agency July 3.
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia then held a bilateral meeting with President Prabowo inside the palace which took place behind closed doors.
The meeting, which took place warmly, reviewed the brotherhood relations between the two countries, explored opportunities for cooperation in various fields, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
In addition, the two leaders also discussed the latest regional and international developments and efforts made to overcome them, in addition to topics of mutual concern.
"This meeting reflects the close personal and strategic relationship between the two leaders," according to the official broadcast of the Presidential Secretariat.
After that, the two leaders together with the delegations of each country then held a bilateral meeting as well as the first Saudi-Indonesian Supreme Coordination Council meeting.
The meeting discussed a number of key issues in the agenda before the members of the council.
