Assigned To Be A Commuter At PLN Energi Primary Indonesia, This Is A Profile Of Nikson Silalahi
JAKARTA Nikson Silalahi admits that he has been appointed as President Commissioner (Komut), as well as Independent Commissioner of PT PLN Energi Primary Indonesia, which is a subholding of PT PLN (Persero).
Nikson called this a form of new assignment, after previously being trusted as the Committee of the Board of Commissioners of PT. ASABRI, BUMN that provides social insurance and pension funds for TNI soldiers, members of the National Police, and ASN who work at the Ministry of Defense and Police.
As an Independent Commissioner and Commissioner, Nikson will be tasked with overseeing the company's running, as well as being responsible for strategic decision-making, management oversight, and ensuring that the company operates in accordance with good governance principles.
"I interpret this as a form of new service task from the leadership to succeed in the government work program led by President Prabowo Subianto," Nikson told the media in Jakarta, Wednesday (02/7/2025).
Nikson Silalahi was born on February 28, 1975 in Parongil, Dairi Regency, North Sumatra.
Nikson recorded completing his education at the University of North Sumatra (USU) in 2001 and obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering.
Nikson continued his education in the S-2 Program of Mercu Buana University (UMB) Jakarta and obtained a Master's degree in Communication Sciences in 2015.

While in the organization, Nikson has served in a number of construction associations.
Having served as General Secretary to Chairman of the Joint Branch Leadership Body for the Implementation of the Indonesian National Construction (BPC Gapensi) Central Jakarta, Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) DKI Jakarta.
Once a Directorial Elements Manager for the Certification Unit of the DKI Jakarta Province Construction Services Development Agency (LPJK).
Also served as Deputy Chairperson of the DPP Association of Indonesian Water Contractors (DPP Akaindo).
Currently, Nikson also serves as Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian National Construction Implementation Association (BPP GAPENSI), and Sintua/Intua at the HKBP Jatisampurna Church.
Nikson has also served as Chair of the DPP for Mining and Energy, the Indonesian Christian Youth Movement (GAMKI).
Most recently, Nikson was trusted as the General Chairperson of the Central Executive of the Great Indonesia Christian Movement (PP GEKIRA) for the 2025-2030 term of service.
