Weird Genius Introduces PB GLAS As Collaborator In Witch Hunt Song

JAKARTA - The electronic music trio from Jakarta, Weird Genius, has again shown its spur on the music scene by introducing a new single with the title 'Witch Hunt'. This time, they collaborated with a young rapper, PB GLAS.

With hard techno treats accompanied by a combination of psychiatric elements, 'Witch Hunt' emits dark, hypnotized, scary, and aggressive nuances.

Collaboration became the soul of this song from the start. PB GLAS, whose real name is Natalia Phoebe, is the author of the song, while Weird Genius Reza Oktovian, Eka Gustiwana, and Roy Leonard are collectively producers.

Meanwhile, the 'Witch Hunt' depicts someone being hunted by society expressing the emotional development of pleasure, madness, anger, all mixed into one.

According to PB, the idea of the song stems from a time when women become accused, and are prosecuted as magicians for hatred of social and gender marginalization.

It's a hunting game (This is a hunting game), reads one line of lyrics written by PB GLAS in a solid and flows encouraging listeners to participate in the hunting game presented with high tempo music.

With this collaboration, Weird Genius continued his tradition that has been going on for years, namely looking for talents who have not been appreciated enough even though they have high potential.

PB GLAS also provides a new color in Weird Genius music. By combining high-intensity arrangements and intense vocal alloys, 'Witch Hunt' became a statement of their new direction.
