NTB Governor Asks For MotoGP Duration 2025 Plus 6 Days
The Governor of West Nusa Tenggara, Lalu Muhamad Iqbal asked for the duration of the 2025 MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit to be increased to six days beyond the previous year.
The Governor of NTB said this decision was taken as a strategic step to expand economic impact, strengthen tourism promotion, and elevate NTB's local culture to the international arena according to the vision of realizing NTB Makmur Globally.

The Governor of NTB explained that the presence of MotoGP must be accompanied by a more aggressive regional promotional strategy. The use of public media such as billboards, cooperation with airports and collaboration of promotions with district/city governments must be carried out intensively.
"I want to see a real NTB 'branding' on the circuit. Not just private sponsors. There must be a big article 'Visit Sembalun', 'Explore Sumbawa and Bima in the international arena. Mandalika is the NTB storefront to the world," he said.
The Governor of NTB said this year's MotoGP model will be a prototype for NTB in welcoming other international activities. He targets NTB as a world-class tourism and cultural sports center but remains rooted in local identity.
