Flores Musician Ivan Marijuman Introduces New Song In Javanese

JAKARTA - Musician from Flores, Ivan totaling his dedication to preserving and developing local culture through music. Different from many previous releases, this time Ivan launched a Javanese song entitled "Life Goes On (Ora Usah Mlayu)".

Ivan hotman explained that the song introduced this time was an appeal not to run or hide from trouble.

"Just accept it, accept it. There is still tomorrow. It's hard for a day, it's enough for a day. Don't get into your heart," Ivan said in a press release received by VOI, Wednesday, July 2.

The choice of Javanese which incidentally is not Ivan's mother tongue is based on the belief that regional languages in Indonesia can be an effective medium for delivering positive messages.

"This is a form of revitalization of languages in the archipelago, in order to grow side by side with Indonesian," added Ivan. "I want to show that regional languages are not only a symbol of identity, but also a means to convey meaningful messages".

Delivered through Ibu Records, Ivan hopes "Life Goes On (Ora Usah Mlayu)" can be a means to raise awareness of the importance of language and culture preservation.

"Music has the power to unite people and raise awareness of the importance of cultural conservation. I hope that this song can be an inspiration for people to appreciate regional languages and culture more," he said.

In addition to being digitally released, Ivan Allahman also released a music video for Life Goes On (Ora Usah Mlayu), which can be seen through the YouTube Innovation Channel channel.

Ivan Allahman also plans to undergo a series of concerts and performances to promote this song. "I want to take this song to various places in Indonesia and share positive messages with the public."

Through the release of this song, he hopes to invite the public to be more concerned about the preservation of regional languages and culture.
