IBM Launches Solutions For AI Security And Governance In One Platform

JAKARTA - IBM launched a new software, which integrates AI security and governance systems on one integrated platform.

This new solution integrates watsonx. governance and Guardium AI Security to help clients keep their AI systems, including AI agents, safe and responsible on a large scale.

watsonx. governance is a comprehensive AI governance device from IBM, while Guardium AI Security is IBM's security device to secure its AI models, data, and use.

The AI agency is expected to revolutionize the company's productivity, but the huge benefits of AI agents can also be challenging. When autonomous systems like this are not managed or secured properly, the consequences can be enormous," said Ritika Gunnar, General Manager, Data and AI, IBM.

This integration will support the user's process of ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, with reference to 12 different frameworks, including the EU AI Act and ISO 42001.

In addition, IBM also introduced new capabilities in Guardium AI Security, namely automated red teaming to detect security loopholes, as well as an AI input-output analytic systems to prevent data leakage.

All of these features are currently available at IBM Guardium AI Security and its integration with watsonx. governance will be launched in stages this year.

"The future of AI depends on how well we secure it from now on. Implanting security from the start is very important to protect data, fulfill compliance obligations, and build sustainable trust," continued Suja Viswesan, Vice President, Security and Runtime Products, IBM.

These innovations are also in line with a broader suite of IBM watsonx AI solutions, designed to help companies accelerate the impact of generative AI, responsibly and safely.
