Minister Of Manpower Yassierli Asks Companies To Combine Best Practice And Local Wisdom Pacu Productivity

CIKARANG - Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli revealed that future labor challenges in managing human resources (HR) are not easy.

Yassierli appealed to the company to see that it is not only limited to best practices, but a combination of best practices and local wisdom is needed so that human resources can be more productive.

"In managing human resources (HR), we urge companies to see that it is not only limited to best practices. However, HR management in corporate institutions can grow more productive, it must be combined with best practices and local wisdom or local wisdom," Yassierli said while attending a Seminar and Networking event entitled Career Connect 2025: Networking Motivation in Jababeka Industrial Estate, Cikarang, West Java, Tuesday, July 1.

The Career Connect 2025 is an event with a series of events ranging from the labor dialogue with the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli, a motivational seminar with entrepreneurs and motivators Andrie Wongso and networking sessions.

The event, which was initiated by Jababeka, was attended by around 2,000 participants, including job seekers, students and industry players, and received direct support from the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker).

He also appreciated Jababeka for holding the event to answer the problem of unemployment due to the many terminations of employment (PHK) and difficult job seekers to find work.

The reason, he said, Jababeka is one of the industrial areas that is a pilot for employment.

"I hope that Jababeka can be a pilot that we want to build, namely a relationship with the workforce, not just transactional, but having a common goal, namely mutual prosperity," said Yassierli.

"So, forming an industrial ecosystem and an ecosystem is getting bigger. That is the real solution of employment," he continued.

Furthermore, Yassierli said, synergy is needed from various parties to answer various challenges in the employment sector, including in Bekasi Regency. Starting from the Bekasi Regency Government, the private sector, universities and the wider community.

"For Jababeka, thank you (for making this event), I am waiting for the next breakthrough," he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Jababeka and Founder President University Setyono Djuandi (SD) Darmono emphasized that Jababeka tenants should conduct internal training (training/upskilling).

In addition, he also appealed to job seekers to take certain trainings to have the ability or skills in the future.

The reason is, the workforce is given a job by the company, in the end, it already has the skills needed.

"I'm sure the factories in Jababeka still need a lot of work, whether in the sales, promotion, construction and others. Then, if later, 'how come it's still difficult to work?' The keyword is training. Why? Training for job seekers will make them have expertise and companies want to hire them," he explained.
