The West Java Regional Secretary Does Not Know The Existence Of The Bonus Money Rejected By Persib

BANDUNG - West Java Regional Secretary (Sekda) Herman Suryatman said he did not know for sure the existence of bonus money from raising ASN funds for Persib Bandung, which was reportedly rejected and returned to the management of the football club.

"This has to be checked, I haven't checked yet. What is clear is that we have symbolically submitted it to the Persib management representative. And I also share it on social media," Herman said at the West Java DPRD building in Bandung, Tuesday, July 1, as reported by ANTARA.

Herman apologized because the funds collected from ASN did not reach the promised target of Rp1 billion, considering that this fundraising was voluntary from West Java Provincial Government ASN.

"I'm sorry if the joint venture is from friends, mutual cooperation from friends is not optimal. But once again, this is voluntary. From the start, the Governor also said that he should not use official money. It should not have anything to do with service. It means that it really comes from each individual," he said.

Herman said the bonus funds were the result of voluntary and sincere fundraising of ASN as a form of belonging to Persib, although what was collected until the time was handed over amounted to only Rp356 million and was still far from the initial desire.

"What is clear is that we have tried our best and it is a form of volunteerism, even if there are things that are not pleasing, there are shortcomings, there are limitations, I convey my apologies and as representatives of ASN friends, God willing, we will be responsible," he said.

Even so, Herman revealed that the bonus raising for Persib is currently still open to ASN, and if in total with the bonus that has been given the time of the day, the amount has touched the figure of Rp. 400 million.

"Until now it is still (opened), that's why information has developed from the treasurer, it has reached Rp 400 million, thank God. This means that this ASN is extraordinary. Once again, I apologize if I personally may have something that is not pleasing, there are things that are not right, because there is no ivory that is not cracked," said Herman.

Previously, Commissioner of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat (PBB), Umuh Muchtar, revealed that the management refused to give the bonus.

According to Umuh, the West Java Provincial Government seemed burdened by the promise of giving bonuses to the Persib team.

"The money promised by Rp1 billion has been circulating everywhere and has given Kadeudeuh money collected Rp 365 million. It has been instructed to the staff at Persib, I refuse," said Umuh in Bandung.

Umuh admitted that he did not want the awarding of bonuses from the government to be a problem in the future.
