BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2025 Successfully Held, Followed By 31,000 Runners

JAKARTA - BTN Jakarta International Marathon (BTN JAKIM) 2025 was successfully held on Sunday, June 29, 2025. The event was attended by 31,000 runners divided into three categories, namely 4,000 runners for the 42.19 kilometer marathon, 13,000 for the hall marathon with a distance of 21 kilometers, and 14,000 for 10,000 kilometers.

The success of BTN Jakim 2025 cannot be separated from the solid performance of a number of parties and full support from the DKI Jakarta Provincial government as the organizer of the event.

"BTN JAKIM 2025 has proven to have implemented the 4S concept, namely Sterile, Secure, Safety, and Smooth, going well. With a total of 31,000 participants, it is a record for the most number of running competitions. We hope that next year we can participate in the success of BTN JAKIM again," said BTN President Director Nixon LP Napitupulu in a press release received by VOI.id editor, Monday, June 30, 2025.

DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said he would continue to provide support for this marathon because Jakarta has the potential to become a sports tourism destination, not only for runners but also for the general public who want to see the excitement of the event.

Seeing the enthusiasm of the community in the 2025 JAKIM BTN, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is targeting that next year participants who participate can reach up to 40,000 JAKIM 2025 BTN be held as part of the celebration of the 498th Anniversary of the City of Jakarta.

BTN JAKIM 2025 is a world-class prestigious marathon event because it has been recognized by the world athletic body, namely World Athletics with the title of World Athletics Label Road Races. The participants of BTN JAKIM 2025 fought for a total prize of IDR 3 billion, including a grand prize for a house for participants who managed to break a special record for Indonesian citizens.
