Nearly 92 Thousand Range Rover Sport Units Must Pass Initial Evaluation Due To This Problem

JAKARTA - Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) issued an initial evaluation order for nearly 92,000 vehicles due to potential damage to the knuckle of the front steering wheel.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has received reports that one or two front-wheeled knuckles have cracked so that they have the potential to harm their users.

The component is one of the crucials that connects the front tire to important devices such as braking parts.

Launching from Reuters, Tuesday, July 1, the automotive safety agency added that the investigation would help determine the scope, severity, and origin.

Currently, the evaluation of the case is focused on the 2014-2017 Range Rover Sport issued by JLR in North America totaling 91,856 units.

Although it is only an initial evaluation, the news could lead to a recall program if the problem is more serious than expected.

This case is certainly a common concern in order to provide a sense of security and safety for Range Rover owners and other road users.

Earlier this year, JLR announced a recall in the US involving nearly 30,000 combined cars from Jaguar and Land Rover brands.

This recall was caused by a problem with the rear camera when the vehicle withdrew, causing safety problems.

It is stated that the affected vehicles are the Discovery Sport model 2023, Defender 2023-2024, and Range Rover Evoque 2023.
