DKI Provincial Government Provides Psychological Services For Victims Of Obscenity Of Ngaji Teachers In Tebet

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Department of Empowerment, Child Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) provides psychological services for victims of sexual abuse of Koran teachers in Tebet, South Jakarta.

"We will provide further services as needed, such as psychological and legal services," said Head of the DKI Jakarta PPAPP Office Iin Mutmainnah in a short message, Tuesday, July 1.

Iin revealed that currently the Technical Implementation Unit of the Women and Children Protection Center (UPT PPPA) of the DKI Jakarta PPAPP Office has provided assistance to 2 of the victim's children on Thursday, June 26.

"Last Thursday, PPPA provided outreach services, LP assistance, and post-mortem services to 2 children," he said.

As previously reported, the police revealed that teaching hash was the mode of a Koran teacher with the initials AF committing sexual abuse to minors in Kebon Baru, Tebet, South Jakarta.

"The modus operandi provides additional lessons about the hadas of men and women," said South Jakarta Metro Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKBP Ardian Satrio Utomo in Jakarta, Sunday, June 29.

Ardian added, in addition to discussing the matter of hadas, the perpetrator also showed his genitals and intimidated the victim by giving Rp10 thousand to Rp25 thousand.

The action was carried out at the house of the perpetrator who is also a place of recitation. Based on the investigator's statement, this act has occurred repeatedly since 2021 and involves 10 children aged 10-12 years.

"Based on reports from victims, investigators visited the place last Monday and secured the perpetrators to be taken to the South Jakarta Metro Police which will be followed up," he said.
