Mass Demonstration Colored Exception Session, Nikita Mirzani: They Know Which Support

JAKARTA - The trial of the alleged extortion case involving Nikita Mirzani and his assistant, Ismail Marzuki alias Mail, was again held at the South Jakarta District Court today, Tuesday, July 1.

Nikita, who was escorted by a prisoner's car, was present at 10.15 WIB accompanied by the District Attorney.

When asked about his readiness to undergo this trial, Nikita Mirzani admitted that he was ready to possibly meet Reza Gladys at trial.

"Yes, God willing, it will be ready (with the exception)," said Nikita Mirzani before the trial.

"Yes (ready ready to meet Reza Gladys), she must come right," he continued.

At this trial, it was seen that the masses who held demonstrations in front of the South Jakarta District Court building firmly called for support for Nikita Mirzani.

They were seen carrying and lifting banners with the words "support" to the mother of three children.

Nikita tries to respond to this action, she admits that she is grateful because indirectly many people know who to take sides with.

"Yes, thank God. It means they know which one to support," said Nikita Mirzani.

At the previous trial, Nikita Mirzani was charged with committing a criminal act of extortion or electronic threats against Reza Gladys. In addition, Nikita was also charged with money laundering for the money she received from Reza Gladys, the crime was committed by Nikita and her assistant, Ismail Marzuki.

For their actions, Nikita and Ismail are suspected of violating Article 45 paragraph 10 letter A, Article 27B Paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning the ITE Law with Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions or Article 3 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

This combination of articles is generally used to ensnare the main actors and parties involved in cases of extortion or electronic threats.
