Prabowo Praises The Police For Playing A Role In Running National Development

JAKARTA - Prabowo Subianto stated that the National Police played an important role in maintaining national stability and security as the main foundation for the success of the great agendas of national development.

This was conveyed by the Head of State while leading the commemoration ceremony of Bhayangkara's 79th Anniversary which was held at the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 1.

"Thanks to the National Police, we as a nation can carry out a big national development agenda," said President Prabowo as quoted by ANTARA.

The President also emphasized that Indonesia's ideals of independence are not merely freedom from colonialism, but towards sovereignty in all fields, and to become a prosperous and just country.

According to President Prabowo, the National Police plays a vital role in realizing this.

"The aspirations of our nation's founders are Indonesia without poverty, Indonesia without hunger, Indonesia with justice are our ideals," he said.

Presiden Prabowo mengingatkan sejarah dunia telah menunjukkan tak ada negara yang berhasil tanpa keberadaan kepolisian yang kuat.

He also invited all elements of the nation to remember and give the highest respect to the founders of the Indonesian National Police.

"It is with this awareness that the leaders of the country from the first president and beyond, the second, third, fourth, fifth, seventh, until now I am in office, we are all aware of the importance of a strong and superior police force," he said.
