Toyota Introduces GR Supra Track Edition, Here's The Special
JAKARTA - Toyota expanded its high-performance vehicle line for the Australian market by introducing the GR Supra Track Edition, the latest variant focused on racing tracks.
This is the top variant of the legendary GR Supra ranks and will join the other two options, namely GT and GTS in the country of fun.
Toyota Australia Vice President Sales, Marketing, and Franchise Operation Sean Hanley said the car had been designed more dynamically with greater power and excellent control.
"Track Edition has everything it needs for a future classic car, with exclusive improvements that will definitely make people driving it smile," Hanley was quoted as saying on Toyota's official website Australia, Monday, June 30.
This variant is a refinement version of a GR Supra model supported by various equipment such as additional roll-bars in front and rear, a strengthened rubber bushing for front arms control, and a stiffer back subframe seat.
Seats for stiffer back subframe and under-floor support with revised installation points further strengthen the chassis of the GR Supra Track Edition.
Meanwhile, the car has negative adjustments to the front camera combined with an increase in suspension to ensure control and a sense of driving is faster and more responsive than before.
The car has been re-programd on the back-differential electric and limited-slip power steering system has been implemented to match the upgraded suspension components, while the upgraded 374mm front brake helps increase the downturn.
The GR Supra Track Edition is also equipped with 19-inch badminton black rims and aggressive red brake caps which are then accompanied by aero flip arch front and rear wheels, enhanced front tire spats, and carbon fiber dual counters.

The inside has a red seat belt, a black Alcantara seat coating with a GR logo that is sewn on the back of the head, and on the manual type, a red ring around the gear transfer button.
The Track Edition variant also has a special color choice, namely the latest Black Matte which has a more fierce appearance than its standard version.
This car is available with a 3.0 liter 6-cylinder turbocharged engine that can issue 285 kW of power and a 500 Nm peak torque combined with a six-speed manual transmission option and an automatic eight acceleration.
The force is channeled to the rear wheels and assisted by a differential differential limited-slip of weight distribution 50/50 which helps give GR Supra the dynamics of driving more daringly.
Present at the local dealer network in July tomorrow, GR Supra Track Edition will be pegged for USD 105,295 or approximately IDR 1.116 billion.
