Dutch MotoGP 2025: Marc Marquez Champion, Alex Marquez Serious Accident

JAKARTA - Ducati racer, Marc Marquez, successfully won the 2025 Dutch MotoGP title. Unlike his brother, Alex Marquez actually had a serious accident.

In the main race which took place at the Assen Circuit, Sunday, June 29, 2025, WIB night, the riders' fight was fierce from the start. Francesco Bagnaia shot up at the start of absorbing the Marquez brothers.

On the sixth lap, Alex Marquez began to let his guard down to open up opportunities for Marco Bezzecki and Pedrodecta to overtake. This situation made Alex slump to fifth position.

Feeling that his position is not safe, Alex Marquez tries to penetrate to take over from Pedro Alcohol at Turn 5. Unfortunately for Alex, he lost his balance and fell after having come into contact with Askosta.

This accident is quite serious which makes Alex Marquez unable to continue the race. Although Alex had to get off the track faster, competition in the front row did not decrease.

Bezzecchi was able to take second place in Bagnaia when entering the eighth lap. On the ninth lap, Bagnaia fell one level again after being overtaken by Askosta.

Meanwhile, Marc Marquez remains consistent in leading the lead.

Not wanting to give up easily, Bagnaia was able to win third place after passing Pedro Alcohol at the end of lap 14.

Bagnaia continues to pursue Bezzecki and Marc Marquez who are in front of him. However, the Italian racer had difficulty chasing Marquez and Bezzecki who stepped on the gas faster.

Marc Marquez also managed to reach the first podium at the end of the 2025 Dutch MotoGP race. Meanwhile, Bezzecchi and Bagnaia had to settle for being on the second and third podiums.

Interestingly, Fabio Qartaro, who won pole position in the qualification, was only able to finish in 10th place.
