The Kaltara Police Chief Inaugurated The Bridge And Handed Over Aid At SP 6 Tanjung Buka Village, A Touched Resident
TANJUNG SELOR - Head of the North Kalimantan Regional Police (Kapolda) Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto, inaugurated the pedestrian bridge and clean water installation as well as handed over solar light assistance and cocoa seeds in residential units (SP) 6 Tanjung Buka Village, Tanjung Palas Tengah District, Bulungan Regency, on Sunday 29 June 2025.
The Kapolda said that the pedestrian bridge had been awaited by local residents for a long time. Especially for the safety of school children who have been forced to cross the river or take dangerous shortcuts.
"In fact, there have been events that threaten the lives of children and residents as a result of crocodile attacks. The presence of this bridge is a gift for the people of Tanjung Buka Village," said Police Chief Inspector General Hary accompanied by the Head of Bulungan Police, Kombes Pol Rofikoh Yunianto.
"There are three bridges that we built in this area, for the time being here (SP6) because they are close to schools and the main access of residents," he added.
In addition to the bridge, continued Hary, his party also handed over assistance for hundreds of solar lights for lighting in 83 houses and 138 street lighting points so that they could help people's activities at night.
"Cauo seeds are also handed over to be planted and treated as an additional source of livelihood. Clean water installation is also one of the most meaningful assistance for the people of Tanjung Buka Village," said the two-star general.

The Regional Police Chief added that the assistance provided was a form of concern for the National Police institution in Kaltara, especially the ranks of the Bulungan Police. "What is given today is not only about physical assistance, but about expectations, attention, and real concern from the Police for the community," he concluded.
