The 2025 Junior Archery Championship In Kudus Followed By 876 Athletes
JAKARTA A total of 876 athletes from 28 provinces have participated in the MilkLife Archery Challenge for the 2025 National Championship which is scheduled to take place from 27 June to 5 July 2025 in Kudus City, Central Java.
All of these athletes will show their abilities and compete to be the best in the tournament held by the Indonesian Archery Association (Perpani) and the Djarum Foundation Sports Service at the Supersoccer Arena.
The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo, appreciated the active collaboration between the Perpani and the Djarum Foundation to continue to increase public interest as well as maintain the regeneration process of archery sports.

The 2025 Junior National Championship Archery Challenge is a serious step from Perpani, Provincial Management (Pengrov), clubs, and sponsors in building a structured and sustainable national archery ecosystem.
Chairman of PB Perpani, Mohammad Arsjad Rasjid Prabu Mangkuningrat, hopes that this event can be the initial gateway to the achievements of archery at the world level.
"I hope the athletes who become champions here are not immediately satisfied, but are getting more and more excited about practicing."

Archery has a great history when they won silver medals at the 1988 Seoul Olympics through three Srikandi, namely Nurfitriyana Saiman, Lilies Handayani, and Kusuma Wardhani.
The Djarum Foundation Sports Service Director's Program, Yoppy Rosimin, said that the presence of the MilkLife Archery Challenge for the 2025 National Championship is one of the efforts to foster people's love and preference for archery.
"In addition to being able to motivate the competing junior athletes, the early-age athletes can also have the opportunity to observe and learn archery from close range," said Yoppy.
MilkLife Archery Challenge Junior Championship 2025 presents three match numbers. The three numbers are the recurve division, compound division, and the national division (standard bow).
The participants were also divided into three age groups, namely the U-13, U-15, and U-18. In addition, there is also an additional U-10 for the national division.
Central Java Province is the largest contingent in the National Championship this time by lowering the complete formation of 80 mainstay junior athletes. Followed by DKI Jakarta Province with 79 athletes and West Java Province who brought 77 athletes.
MilkLife Archery Challenge 2025 National Championships for a total of 321 medals with details of 107 gold medals, 107 silver medals, and 107 bronze medals.
All medals are contested from the qualifying round to the elimination round for the individual, team, and mixed team categories.
The 2025 National Championship Archery Challenge adopts a world archery federation assessment system, in which the recurve division and national division use set systems. This means that the expansion that reaches point six is declared as the winner first.
Meanwhile, in the compound division, the assessment system uses a score accumulation. Pepanah who got the highest score won. In this championship, the qualifying and elimination round was also implemented for the three divisions.
The Archery Junior Championship is consistently rolling every year. In 2022, this championship will take place in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, then in 2023 West Java Province will appear as the host. Then, last year this event was held in Batam, Riau Islands.
