Heavy Rain Tangerang, 1.5 Meters High Flood

The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Tangerang City, Banten, noted that the rain that occurred from noon to evening caused flooding in a number of areas with the worst water level reaching 1.5 meters.

"The worst flood height is in RT01/RW 16 Uwung Jaya, Cibodas District reaches 1.5 meters," said Acting Head of the Tangerang City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Mahdiar in Tangerang, Saturday, as reported by ANTARA.

He said the impact of the flood caused the residents' settlements to be flooded. The Tangerang City BPBD noted that as of 19.00 WIB there were 280 families affected.

The Tangerang City BPBD recorded that light to moderate rain that occurred in the Tangerang City area from 13.30 WIB to 17.00 WIB had caused inundation and flooding other than in the Cibodas area.

For the Periuk area, flooding occurred on Jalan Duta Taman Cibodas with a water level of 50 centimeters. Then in Jatake Jatiuwung Village, the water level reached 80 centimeters at Perum Magnolia Residence.

In addition, there was also a fallen tree incident on Jalan Pinang Kunciran and closed the public road. Then on Jalan KH Hasyim Ashari Cipondoh which also closed the road.

Meanwhile, in the Karang Tengah area such as Perum Ciledug Indah until tonight, it is still in safe condition. Likewise, in Gebang Raya, namely Garden City and the Alamanda Bridge are still safe.

"We have alerted all personnel in the field to carry out evacuations and standby according to the needs of local residents," he said.
