Yemen's Houthis Launch Missile Attacks On Israel
JAKARTA - Missile attacks were launched from Yemen on Israeli territory. The Israeli military said the missile was most likely intercepted.
As reported by Reuters on Saturday, June 28, there have been no reports of the impact of the latest missile attack from the Houthis amid the easing of the Iran-Israeli war after the ceasefire.
Israel has repeatedly threatened the Yemeni Houthis movement in favor of Iran with sea and air blockades if its attacks on Israel continue. The Houthis attacked Israel on the basis of solidarity with Gaza.
Since the start of Israel's war in Gaza in October 2023, the Houthis, which controls large parts of Yemen, have opened fire on Israel and delivered in the Red Sea, disrupting world trade.
Most of the dozens of missiles and drones they launched have been intercepted or failed. Israel has carried out a series of counter-attacks.
