Police Reform Is Expected By Komnas HAM To Be A Priority On The 79th Bhayangkara Day
JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) Anis Hidayah hopes that the National Police will be more serious about reforming. This method is said to make the Bhayangkara Corps stronger in the future.
This was conveyed by Anis ahead of the 79th Bhayangkara Day which will be commemorated on Tuesday, July 1.
"We hope that the Polri reform agenda will become an agenda that will continue to be prioritized so that in the future our Police will be stronger," Anis told reporters, Saturday, June 28.
Anis asked for good services to the community to be maintained. The National Police was also reminded not to discriminate in carrying out their duties.

"And it can be used as an institution that provides services and protection in the community without discrimination," he said.
Not only that, the National Police are also asked to continue to use their human rights perspective in every law enforcement effort. Thus, the community can get the justice needed.
"Because law enforcement work must be in line with human rights principles," concluded Anis.
