South Sulawesi Police Chase Perpetrators Of Village Staff Shooting In Gowa
The South Sulawesi (Sulel) Regional Police dispatched a team to help chase the shooter using an air rifle against a victim of a Palaikang Village staff member named Hardianto (35) by an unknown person in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi.
"Yes, in the back up (assisted), God willing (until) the perpetrator is caught (the perpetrator)," said Director of the South Sulawesi Regional Police Ditreskrimum Kombes Setiadi Sulaksono as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, June 28.
Confirmed separately, the Head of the Gowa Police Criminal Investigation Unit Unit, Ipda Andi Muhammad Alfian, stated that the team had received a bright spot on the characteristics of the suspected shooter.
"For the alleged perpetrator, we suspect that he is currently being chased by the team. There have been witnesses being examined," he said when asked where the investigation process for the case was.
Previously, the shooting incident of the victim by OTK was strongly suspected of using wind rifle on Thursday (26/5) in the early hours of the morning, in Jenetallasa Hamlet, Panaikang Village, Pattalassang District, Gowa.
Kasat Reskrim Gowa Police AKP Bahtiar emphasized that the team had investigated the incident. Furthermore, officers analyzed the chronology of events including the type of weapon used.
"We are currently investigating this type of weapon, while waiting for the nested projectiles to be removed (on the victim's body) by operation. Then, we will test the lab to determine whether the type of weapon used. Until now we do not know who the perpetrator is," he explained.
