Anwar Ibrahim Praises Indonesia's Role In ASEAN And Humanity

JAKARTA - Prime Minister (PM) Anwar Ibrahim praised Indonesia's role in Southeast Asia (ASEAN) to President Prabowo Subianto after a bilateral meeting at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Friday, June 27.

One of the highlights is the activeness of Indonesia to encourage the peaceful resolution of Myanmar's conflict. In addition, Anwar Ibrahim also praised Indonesia's humanitarian stance which continues to encourage peace in the Middle East region.

Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim also expressed with President Prabowo Subianto that he was consistent in supporting Palestinian independence.
