Dutch MotoGP FP1 Results 2025: Had A Fall, Marquez Remained The Fastest
JAKARTA Marc Marquez remained the fastest in his first free practice (FP1) MotoGP Dutch Grand Prix 2025 despite having an accident.
Ducati's rider finished with a time of 1 minute 32,216 seconds at the Assen Circuit on Friday, June 27, 2025. He is in front of Maverick Vi totales and Marco Bezzecchi who occupies second and third place.
The spill of oil and the condition of the wet track made the first free practice for the Moto2 class postponed. This then affected the Dutch MotoGP FP1.
The MotoGP free practice session was finally only held at 16.35 WIB. When FP1 had only been running for a few minutes, Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) fell at Turn 15.
He looked a little in pain as he walked towards the Ducati garage. However, after changing the racing suit, the rider nicknamed The Baby Alien acted again on the track and then became the fastest.
Maverick Vi wayles trailed in second place with a time difference of 0.313 seconds. The 30-year-old driver outperformed Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team).
The fifth position was claimed by Fabio Di Giannantonio. Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team's rider was followed by Fabio Quartararo from Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP in sixth place.
Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP), who is a challenger for the title this season, completed the first free training session for the Netherlands in seventh position.
Alex's backs in a row to complete the top ten were Johann Zarco (Castrol Honda LCR), Fermin Aldeguer (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP), and Alex Rins (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP).
