Freddie Mercury Allegedly Has A Secret Daughter, Brian May Shocked

JAKARTA A surprising claim rocked the world of music and Queen fans. In a recent biography of the late legendary vocalist, Freddie Mercury, it is stated that he has an undisclosed daughter and this news has even just been heard by Brian May, Queen guitarist himself.

In a book called Love, Freddie: Freddie Mercury's Secret Life and Love which will be published in September 2025, it is stated that a 48-year-old woman known with the initials B is Mercury's biological child of a secret relationship in 1976. What made the book's authors excited stated that Mercury's closest people, including his bandmates, had known about this for decades.

However, Anita Dobson, Brian May's wife, immediately denied it. To The Mirror and as reported by The Independent, Friday, June 27, he admitted that he was surprised when he first heard the news.

"I said, 'What?' Then I asked Brian, 'You know about this?' and he replied, 'You believe this story?' said Dobson. He even called the claim maybe just 'false news' and challenged the woman to prove herself: 'If it's true, where is he? Show yourself.'

Even so, the figure of B is adamant. He claims to have a personal relationship with Mercury from birth to the end of the legend's life. He even claimed to have inherited 17 of Mercury's personal journals, which he has kept secret, and only now has been opened to the public through collaboration with the famous rock writer, Lesley-Ann Jones.

He loves me and devotes himself to me, quoted the book. Maybe the origins of my birth sound unusual or even surprising to many people. But it never reduces his love for me.

Jones himself admitted he was initially skeptical, but finally convinced. My Naluri is always doubtful, he told Mail. But no one can fake all this. He worked with me for three and a half years, without ever asking for money or fame.

According to the author, B is not looking for any profit, as he has had a big legacy from Mercury and his stepfather through personal legal arrangements not through an official will.

It is known, Mercury began writing his personal journal on June 20, 1976 two days after Queen released the song You're My Best Friend and recorded many things until July 31, 1991, when her health began to decline. Mercury died a few months later, on November 24, 1991, at the age of 45 due to AIDS-related pneumonia complications.

B finally chose to open his voice because he felt he had been silent for too long.

Those who know about me keeping this secret for the sake of loyalty to Freddie, he wrote in the letter contained in the book. But the decision to appear and speak is mine own. I am not forced by anyone.

He entrusted his personal journal to me 'the only child and closest relatives' as a legacy of his memories, feelings, and thoughts.'

Love's book Freddie: Freddie Mercury's Secret Life and Love is scheduled for release on September 5, 2025 via Whitefox Publishing.
