BMKG: The Majority Of Indonesia's Regions Are Cloudy To Rain Today
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the majority of Indonesia's territory will be cloudy to rainy on Friday, June 27.
Through a weather forecast broadcast in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, BMKG Prakirawati Sentia Arianti predicts thick cloudy weather in Banda Aceh and Padang, and light rain in Medan, Pekanbaru, and Tanjung Pinang.
"Still on the island of Sumatra, it is predicted that the air will be fog in Palembang City, then thick clouds in Bandar Lampung City and light rain in Jambi and Bengkulu cities, and be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in Pangkal Pinang City," he said.
Furthermore, on the island of Java, it is predicted that there will be thick clouds in Serang, Jakarta, and Bandung, then light rain in Yogyakarta and Surabaya, and there is the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in Semarang.
In the areas of Bali and Nusa Tenggara, thick cloudy weather is predicted to occur in Kupang, as well as light rain in Denpasar and Mataram.
"For friends who are on the island of Kalimantan, it is predicted that the air will run away in Samarinda City, then thick clouds in Pontianak City, light rain in Palangkaraya City, moderate rain in Tanjung Selor City, and be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in Banjarmasin City," he said.
Meanwhile, in the Sulawesi area, Sentia predicts cloudy weather in Manado, thick cloudy in Gorontalo, light rain in Palu, Mamuju, and Makassar, and moderate rain in Kendari.
