Indonesia Has The Opportunity To Become One Of The Zero Countries For Carbon Emissions
BONDOWOSO, EAST JAVA - President Prabowo Subianto expressed his optimism regarding Indonesia's opportunity to become one of the first countries to achieve the zero carbon emission target on time.
This was conveyed by President Prabowo through a video conference when inaugurating the construction and operation of renewable energy in 15 provinces and increasing oil production by 30,000 barrels per day in the Cepu Block, East Java, Thursday, June 26.
For President Prabowo, the most important thing is that Indonesia can produce energy efficiently by cutting logistics lines that are relatively expensive.
On that occasion, President Prabowo Subianto also reminded again about the importance of energy independence as part of a big vision towards national sovereignty.
Online, President Prabowo Subianto also inaugurated 55 Geothermal Power Plants (PLTP).
President Prabowo Subianto also expressed his appreciation to stakeholders including the ranks of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, SKK Migas, Medco Energi, and ExxonMobil.
