Claudio Echeverri Absent From Training Ahead Of The Match Against Juventus
JAKARTA - Claudio Echeverri is being monitored by Manchester City's medical staff after an injury he suffered against Al Ain that forced him to wear truk and protective boots.
Echeverri scored his first goal for Manchester City in a 6-0 win over Al Ain in Atlanta on Monday, June 23, 2025 WIB.
The 19-year-old was forced off the pitch with an ankle injury in the first half at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. He was also unable to train with Pep Guardiola's squad on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, local time, at their headquarters for the 2025 Club World Cup in Boca Raton, Florida.
He will miss the final Group G match against Juventus in Orlando on Friday, June 27, 2025, early morning WIB.

The injury was a blow to Echeverri after waiting so long to get the chance to play at Manchester City.
He was officially recruited from the River Plate in January 2024, but was still on loan at the Argentine club until January 2025.
He was granted permission to play for Argentina at the U-20 South American Championships before finally arriving at Manchester City in February 2025.
He just made his debut when he lost in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace in May 2025.
His goal against Al Ain - a beautifully executed free-kick - was his first goal for Manchester City, but the young player has now had to be sidelined for some time.
