Fronx's Presence Doesn't Replace Baleno's Position, Here's Suzuki's Explanation

JAKARTA - PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) recently presented the latest product to enliven the national automotive market, the model in question, namely Efronx.

The presence of Tronx is of course many who ask the strongest Baleno who does play at the same price, around Rp. 200-300 million. Referring to Suzuki's official website, Baleno is priced at Rp. 290 million, while frontx starts at Rp. 259 million.

Responding to this, 4W Marketing Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) Harold Donnel, revealed that the presence of Tronx is actually not a problem replacing Baleno. But, more to a larger survey market.

"So, with this frontx we believe that this platform can reach more audiences from the middle to low segment, middle to high even the medium SUV," he said, when met in Bandung, West Java, some time ago.

Furthermore, he said he believed that Tronx had greater potential when marketed in Indonesia. Indeed, the manufacturer with the S logo also had time to reveal that Frenx itself was assembled locally in Indonesia, not imported from India.

"Everything already has a plan, so indeed when Tronx was launched, Baleno had various thrones," he added.

For information, the Suzuki Funx is offered in three variants, namely GL for Rp. 259 million (MT) and Rp. 271 million (AT), GX for Rp. 276 million (MT) and Rp. 293.3 million (AT), and SGX for Rp. 319.9 million (AT). Interestingly, Suzuki provides a special offer for a discount of Rp. 10 million for consumers who make orders before next September.
