Semen Indonesia Subsidiary Distributes Dividends Of IDR 372.5 Billion

JAKARTA - PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SBI), a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), distributed dividends worth IDR 372.5 billion or IDR 41.30 per share for the 2024 financial year.

The decision was made at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) in Jakarta which was broadcast online, Wednesday, May 25.

President Director of SBI Asri Mukhtar said the distribution of dividends equivalent to 50 percent of the company's net profit which reached Rp745 billion is a form of the company's commitment to maintain positive performance in the midst of challenging industrial conditions.

"The Bangun Indonesia Solution continues to encourage efficiency, innovation, and strengthen synergies with GIS as the parent company, to increase competitiveness as well as support the transition to a sustainable green industry," said Asri, quoted by Antara.

In addition to approving the distribution of dividends, shareholders also ratified the company's annual report and financial statements for the financial year ending December 31, 2024.

The GMS also designated Liana Ramon Xenia's Public Accounting Office and Partners, part of the Deloitte network, as an independent auditor for the 2025 financial year.

The company also received approval for the delegation of authority to the Board of Commissioners regarding the determination of tantiem for the 2024 financial year and remuneration for the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners for the 2025 financial year.

The national cement industry until the first quarter of 2025 is still under pressure due to excess supply, weak purchasing power of the community, and high rainfall and large holidays.

Data noted that domestic demand for the cement market during that period contracted by 7.4 percent compared to the same period the previous year.

To maintain performance in the midst of this situation, SBI runs an efficiency program, improves financial structure, and develops innovations, including ready-to-use concrete products used in various large-scale projects, such as the construction of the Summarecon Crown Gading residential area in Bekasi and the Kalibaru pier project in North Jakarta.

SBI also contributes to green open space projects in Jakarta through the use of environmentally friendly concrete products, such as ThruCrete and DekoCrete, and also supplies concrete for road repair projects in the capital.

On the digital side, SBI launched DynaPay, a digital payment solution to facilitate customer transactions. This innovation won an international award at The Asset Triple A Awards 2025 in Hong Kong.

In supporting the sustainability program, SBI through the Nathabumi division expanded the use of alternative refuse-derived fuel (RDF) in a number of factories in Indonesia, as well as cooperating with the Indonesian Gotbag Foundation for the management of plastic waste on the north coast of Java.

"Suspects of sustainability and innovation are an important part in strengthening the company's resilience in facing industrial pressure," said Asri Mukhtar.
