The Finding Of A Man's Body Rotting In A Rented House In Jombang, Allegedly Strongly Killed By Siri's Wife

JAKARTA - The Jombang Resort Police (Polres) in East Java (East Java) is investigating the case of the discovery of a corpse in a rotting condition in a rented house, Johowinong Village, Mojoagung, Jombang Regency.

Mojoagung Police Chief Kompol Yogas said the police had currently detained a woman in connection with the case of finding the corpse.

"The alleged perpetrator has surrendered. The case was immediately handled by the Jombang Police Criminal Investigation Unit," he said in Jombang, Wednesday, June 25, which was confiscated by Antara.

Kompol Yogas revealed that the woman who is currently still being investigated has the initials FP (47), a resident of Kesamben District, Jombang Regency, is strongly suspected of killing her husband, Sirya LK (45), a resident of Catakgayam Village, Mojowarno District, at a rented house in Johowinong Village.

FP reported the incident that happened to her husband LK. The police immediately moved quickly to the scene and found that LK's body had rotted. As of about 40 days, the victim had just been found.

The police who went to the scene also immediately put up a police line around the rented house where the couple initially occupied. Officers also evacuated the body by putting it in a body bag.

Johowinong Village Head Roziun Khoirul Widodo said that the police initially contacted him regarding the findings of a human body in the now empty house.

"The police contacted us because in the empty house the rotting body was found," he said.

From the information he received, the alleged perpetrator had given up and admitted that he had killed her husband.

He said that the house was also very dirty and odor. The victim's body could not even be recognized because of his rotting body.

The police at the scene also conducted a crime scene (TKP). From the information he got, the victim died of poisoning. At the scene, the police were also looking for traces of poison.

The police continue to explore the motives and complete chronology of this murder.

Meanwhile, the FP is still being investigated intensively regarding the motive and purpose of allegedly killing a husband.

One of the victim's neighbors, Lutfiyah admitted that he did not know the couple very well. However, he had heard of an argument between them.

"Move after an argument. The men are invisible, only women. Come, go again, only women," he said.

The findings also made residents curious. They gathered around the location of the house, which had been looking empty for a long time.
