Minister Of PKP: Support For The Danantara To The Real Form Housing Sector Of Indonesia Is Independent

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait (Ara) stated that Danantara's support in the housing sector is a tangible manifestation that Indonesia can stand on its own feet.

"The existence of funding from the Danantara is a tangible manifestation of the Indonesian nation under the government of President Prabowo Subianto to be independent and stand on his own feet and be equal to other nations in the world," said Ara in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, June 25.

Danantara's support in the housing sector with an allocation of Rp130 trillion is clear evidence that the government is truly pro-people by building and renovating 3 million housing units per year for better people's lives.

Ara is ready to follow the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to be independent by choosing not to apply for foreign loans in the housing sector.

The Ministry of PKP is grateful for the trust of foreign financial institutions that have communicated very well, this shows the great support and confidence of foreign President Prabowo Subianto.

For information, the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait (Ara) said the Ministry of PKP, BP Tapera, Danantara Indonesia and five Himbara banks were discussing the technical disbursement of funds of Rp130 trillion for housing projects.

Ara menyampaikan dana Rp130 triliun dari Danantara tersebut, akan digunakan untuk Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) perumahan.

The disbursement of funds from Danantara, continued Ara, was a directive from President Prabowo Subianto. According to Ara, the housing sector also supports economic growth because it involves related industries.

This economic growth is very dependent on the housing sector, because there are 180 industries related to cement, sand, glass, lights and so on.

The support of IDR 130 trillion from Danantara for the community housing program is good news.
