Insisting On Going Home But Not Having A Corona Test, 936 Vehicles In Bandung Are Turned Around
JAKARTA - The Bandung Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas) recorded 963 turning vehicles at the Cileunyi Toll Gate (GT), Bandung Regency, West Java, in blocking the flow of Lebaran 2021 homecoming, since April 24, 2021.
The majority of these vehicles are vehicles with a Jabodetabek area number plate. The vehicle turned around because it could not show a negative COVID-19 letter.
"There were 963 vehicles that were turned around from 2,889 vehicles that were inspected in Cileunyi," said Erik in Bandung, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, May 4.
So far, he said, there has not been an increase in the volume of the flow of vehicles for travelers in the Cileunyi area or towards the southern route.
However, he predicts that an increase in the volume of travelers traveling vehicles will occur on Wednesday, May 5, or before the total homecoming ban on Thursday, May 6.
"Now there is no improvement. The prediction is that tomorrow, the insulation will start again to simulate total insulation," said Erik.
Besides in Cileunyi, his party has so far reversed the 338 vehicles that left the Soreang GT. The majority of these vehicles also carry numbers from outside Bandung, especially the Jabodetabek area.
"At the Soreang Toll Road Intersection 4 we checked 1,014 vehicles, then 338 were turned around," said Erik.
During the implementation of the isolation, his party also carried out rapid COVID-19 tests on 550 travelers who left GT Cileunyi and GT Soreang.
He ensured that none of the hundreds of travelers had the results of being reactive to COVID-19.
"In Soreang and Cileunyi, the results of the rapid test are entirely inactive," said Erik.
