Wuling Reveals Official Image Of MPV Xingguang 730, Available PHEV Variant

JAKARTA - SAIC GM Wuling (SGMW) introduced an official MPV image of seven of its new passengers called Xingguang 730.

Interestingly, the model targeting the family market based on a report from Carnewschina, quoted on Tuesday, June 24, will be available in three variants or powertrain options ranging from BEV, ICE to PHEV, which are now increasingly in demand.

The BEV variant adopts a closed front view while ICE and PHEV adopt a large front pole of V-shaped polygonals. Black trim with the Wuling brand logo in the middle connects the headlights on both sides.

Switching to the rear design for these three variants is the same, featuring high-speed brake lights and backlights with separate structures, visible also multiple curves, and side areas already using sliding doors.

In dimensions, this car has a length of 4,910 mm, a width of 1,850, a height of 1,770 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,910 mm. So what about the other details?

The BEV is equipped with an electric motor that produces 100 kW or 134 hp of power, and is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery. This car is capable of producing the highest speed of 160 km/hour.

Meanwhile, the ICE version is equipped with a 1.5 L engine which produces 174 hp of power and is capable of having the highest speed of 180 km/h, and finally the PHEV variant with a 1.5 L engine embedded with an iron phosphate lithium battery.
