Xbox Releases Joint Game Library Features, Presents Games From Various Digital Stores

JAKARTA - Microsoft announced that this week, Xbox Insiders registered in PC Gaming Preview can get a new combined game library view on the Xbox PC app for Windows 11 devices and handheld devices.

Called the aggregated gaming library, this feature allows players to access their entire game collections from various digital gaming stores in one place.

Xbox also said the feature will be widely available this year's holiday season, including on devices such as ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X which have just been announced.

"With this combined game library, players can easily launch games from Xbox, Game Pass, Battle.net, and various other leading PC gaming stores from one library in the Xbox PC app," said Xbox Product Manager Manisha Oza in her announcement.

So, if you install a game from a supported store, the game will automatically appear in the "My Library" section and the "Newest" list.

Users are also given the flexibility to hide certain stores or games through application settings.

For users who are not yet in the Xbox Insider Program, they can join the Xbox Insider Hub application on Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, or PC.

Through the Xbox Insider subreddit, Microsoft invites input from users to improve this feature. The company emphasizes that community feedback is an important part of the process of developing the Xbox feature going forward.
