Liquid! 66.26 Percent Of Subsidy Assistance Recipients Have Been Distributed

JAKARTA - Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli said wage subsidy assistance (BSU) in 2025 had been distributed to 2.45 million workers per day from the total recipients of stage 1,697,836 workers.

Yassierli explained that the process of distributing BSU was carried out through Himbara banks, namely BNI, BRI, BTN, Mandiri temporarily for BSI specifically for recipients who live in Aceh.

Furthermore, Yassierli explained that this wage subsidy was given for two months with a value of Rp. 300,000 each. However, the distribution was carried out at the same time so that the total received by workers was Rp. 600,000.

"As of today, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, of the number of BSU recipients in stage 1, 3,697,836 recipients have been distributed to the recipient's account as many as 2,450,068 people and the remaining 1,247,768 are still in process," he said at a press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 24.

Yassierli explained that his party also estimates that BSU recipients who do not have a Himbara account will be distributed through PT Pos Indonesia (Persero).

"We also anticipate that prospective BSU recipients who do not have a Himbara account will be distributed through PT. POS Indonesia. This is the same as the previous year's policy," he said.

Furthermore, Yassierli also said that there would be phase II BSU distribution, where at this stage the total target prospective recipients were 4.5 million.

"Untuk penyaluran tahap II, BPJS Ketangankerjaan sudah menyampaikan data sebanyak 4.5 juta calon penerima dan saat ini sedang dalam proses verifikasi dan validasi," ucapnya.

BSU Recipient Requirements

Yassierli said that BSU is one of the programs of the five economic stimulus packages provided by the Prabowo-Gibran government, with a target recipient of 17 million workers or laborers.

The rules related to BSU itself are regulated through the Minister of Manpower Regulation (Permenaker) No. 5 of 2025 concerning Amendments to Manpower No. 10 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for Providing Government Assistance in the Form of Salary/Wage Subsidies for Workers/Labourers.

"The requirements for BSU recipients are Indonesian citizens as evidenced by NIK ownership. Then, active participants in the employment social security program at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan with active status until April 2025," he said.

Then, continued Yassierli, the next requirement is to receive a salary or a maximum wage of Rp. 3,500,000 per month or the maximum amount of the district/city minimum wage, or the provincial minimum wage for districts or cities that do not set it.

"Except for state civil servants or ASN, the TNI-Polri and the last requirements are prioritized for workers or laborers who are not receiving the Family Hope Program or PKH in the fiscal year before the BSU is distributed," he explained.
