3 Halikopter Prepared To Evacuate Brazilian Juliana Who Fell On Mount Rinjani
The Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) then Muhamad Iqbal said three helicopters were prepared to evacuate foreign nationals (WNA) Brazil Juliana or JDSP (27) who crashed on Mount Rinjani on Saturday (21/6) morning.
"There are three helicopters ready withairlift specifications (airlifting via air) to carry out the evacuation operation," said Lalu Muhamad Iqbal as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 24.
He said the first helicopter was prepared by the TNI Headquarters together with Basarnas which will arrive today at around 14.00 WITA at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport (BIZAM). Meanwhile, another helicopter with the Medivac (medical evacuation) specification was provided by the insurance party to be in BIZAM first.
"An other helicopter belonging to PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT) is also airlifting in a standby position in West Sumbawa," explained Miq Iqbal, the nickname of the Governor of NTB.
Governor Iqbal emphasized that he asked for evacuation by air, because the weather was very unfriendly and the location of the Brazilian foreigner which reached a depth of about 500 meters was very dangerous for manual evacuation.
"We will make every effort for a quick rescue," he said.
Assistant II of the Regional Secretariat of NTB Province Lalu Moh Faozal said this morning he had communicated with a number of parties. Currently being checked using drones for the position of climbers who fell into a ravine.
"The coordinates are being confirmed. According to the direction of the Governor, the evacuation is carried out as quickly as possible," he said.
The joint SAR team managed to find the falling position of a female Brazilian tourist, JDSP (27) around the Cemara Nunggal point, Mount Rinjani.

Head of the Mataram SAR Office Muhamad Hariyadi said the victim was found on Monday (23/6) at 07.05 WITA, approximately 500 meters from the starting point of the fall.
"The joint SAR team managed to find a surveillance with a thermal drone visualization," said Hariyadi.
Based on observations from the drone, the victim was not moving. Currently, the joint SAR team is still working hard to evacuate foreigners who fell to the depths of the hundreds of meters.
