KPK Ensures Corruption Investigation Of Hajj Implementation Will Be Completed, Every Information Is Investigated

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that investigations into alleged corruption in determining quotas and organizing Hajj at the Ministry of Religion for the period 2023-2025 will be completed.

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the request for information is still ongoing. Every piece of information that has been pocketed will be traced until a criminal element and the party responsible is found.

"Currently, the case has not yet increased to the investigation stage. However, the KPK is committed to continuing to explore, trace every information needed and is committed to immediately raising this case to the next stage," Budi told reporters quoted on Tuesday, June 24.

Budi also appealed to those who were asked to attend to show their noses at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. They are expected to be cooperative.

"KPK continues to appeal to parties whose information is needed at this stage of the investigation to be cooperative and provide information and information needed," he said.
