Beauty For A Better Life, When Beauty Meets Environmental Concerns
JAKARTA In the midst of increasing global concerns about the impact of the beauty industry on the environment, especially packaging waste and damage to thesir ecosystem, AMOREPACIFIC Indonesia, a South Korean cosmetic company that houses brands such as LANEIGE, INNISFREE, Sulwhasoo, ETUDE, Mise En Scène and ILLIYOON, shows a real commitment in supporting sustainability life.
Through an initiative entitled 'Beauty for a Better Life', AMOREPACIFIC Indonesia collaborates with the Indonesia Blue Foundation (IBF) to carry out environmental conservation actions and empower coastal communities.
Located in the Cemare Eco Green Mangrove Society, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This activity involved planting 1,000 mangrove trees as a form of contribution to the preservation of coastal ecosystems, which have a crucial role in absorbing carbon, preventing abrasion, and maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems.
In addition, AMOREPACIFIC Indonesia also donated two water striking units, a tool to accelerate the sea salt production process efficiently and environmentally friendly. This support is equipped with financial assistance of IDR 100.000, to support the operation and development of environmental and social programs in the region.
