Series Roman Dendam Sugakan Cerita Bertambur Luka, Laga Dan Cinta

JAKARTA - Vidio finally launched its first original series of action-romance genres. Titled Roman Dendam, this show combines the tension of the match with a romantic touch.

Produced by Screenplay Films, this series comes in 8 tense and emotional episodes. This project is directed tandemously by Tommy Dewo and Ceppy Gober.

This series is also the momentum for Abimana Aryasatya's return to the world of action after successfully playing Alex's character in the Final Serigular Vidio Original Series. Meanwhile, for Tatjana Saphira, this was her first experience trying out an intense and emotional and tasteful role in the match.

Tiana (Tatjana Saphira) lives in the shadow of a tragedy. Her life changed instantly since the eve of her birthday when her parents were brutally murdered. Armed only with blurry CCTV footage, she has a deep grudge against the figure she believes to be the perpetrator: Barli, a mysterious man who has now turned profession as a barber at a simple barber shop owned by Kang Cecep.

What Tiana doesn't know is that Barli (Abimana Aryasatya) is a former hitman who tries to make up for his past. When Tiana appears demanding retaliation, Barli can't run away from reality and slowly decides to help find the truth, even though it means he has to face the dark world he has left behind. Who would have thought that Barli's comeback would uncover an even bigger criminal circle, involving other important characters.

Tiana and Barli's journey is like a roller accident. Many surprising facts were revealed. However, in the midst of confusion and disputes, uninvited feelings began to grow. Two injured souls, lost between revenge and love, were met by cruel and beautiful destiny. Who would have thought Tiana would fall in love with the killer of her own parents.

Not only for Tatjana, but Roman Dendam also became Faradina Mufti's (Rei) debut in the action series. Tatjana and Faradina felt lucky to receive directions from Abimana who compiled the choreography in the scattered fighting scenes.

Not only fighting with their bare hands, this series is also trying to explore the action of matches with weapons and variations in fights between groups.

"Now we are trying to play with quite popular weapons in Indonesia, namely sickles. We are also trying to combine several weapons in this series and this will be an interesting spectacle," Abimana said in a press conference session at XXI Plaza Indonesia, June 21.

"We not only present fights between people and people, but also start using vehicles such as cars," he added.

A number of match scenes were presented intensely, while still prioritizing the safety of the cast. And in order to inspire his role, Tatjana applies special training.

"I have to increase muscle mass, build stamina, and focus completely on physical preparation. My routine has completely changed," said Tatjana.

Roman Dendam will air every Friday, starting June 27 exclusively on Vidio.
