Russia Calls Several Countries Ready To Supply Nuclear Weapons For Iran
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said several countries were ready to supply nuclear weapons to Iran, following US airstrikes against Tehran's nuclear facilities.
"A number of countries are ready to supply Iran with their nuclear weapons," Medvedev said in a statement posted on Telegram on Sunday.
His comments came hours after US President Donald Trump announced that American troops had bombed nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
The attack marks the latest escalation in the ongoing Iran-Israeli conflict.
Medvedev said the targeted facility appeared to have suffered minimal or insignificant damage.
According to him, the enrichment of uranium and the development of Iran's potential nuclear weapons may continue.

He warned that the US had been dragged into another major conflict, and argued that Iran's political leadership had actually emerged stronger as a result of the attack.
He criticized Trump for re-inflicting the war, even though in his campaign he claimed to be a 'peacemaker'.
Medvedev also dismissed the possibility of Trump winning the Nobel Peace Prize, as the majority of countries in the world oppose US and Israeli actions.
The attack is the latest escalation in a US-backed Israeli military offensive against Iran since June 13, prompting Tehran to launch a retaliatory offensive against Israel.
Israeli authorities say at least 25 people have died and hundreds of others have been injured since then as a result of Iranian missile attacks.
Meanwhile, Iran's Ministry of Health reported 430 deaths and more than 3,500 injured as a result of Israeli attacks.
