Bank Jakarta Must Be Professional And Ready For IPO
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung expressed his hope that Bank Jakarta will become a professional bank and be ready to take the floor on the stock exchange or IPO next year.
This was conveyed at the launch of the rebranding "call name" and the new logo of PT Bank DKI at the Martha Christina Tiahahu Literacy Park, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Sunday, June 22.
"I personally and Bang Dul (Deputy Governor of Jakarta Rano Karno) have very high hopes for Bank Jakarta to become a professional bank, a bank that is truly trusted by the public. The main task of the directors and ranks of Bank Jakarta is to prepare for the IPO next year," said Pramono.
According to him, the IPO will only be achieved if the bank is managed professionally.
He emphasized the importance of public supervision of the regionally owned bank so that transparency is maintained and the IPO target is met.
"Bank Jakarta must be able to as soon as possible. I'm sure Bank Jakarta can keep its keywords professionalism and the people who manage it," he continued.
Pramono hopes that Bank Jakarta will not only be the pride of Jakarta, but also be able to compete globally.
"I want Bank Jakarta to become a professional bank and make Jakarta residents proud, and be able to advance to class," Pramono concluded.
