Police Divert Traffic In A Number Of Sections In Bandarlampung City

The Bandarlampung Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas) has diverted traffic flow on a number of main roads in this city in order to support the smooth running of the Bhayangkara Run 2025 activity.

"This event is part of the commemoration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day which is centered in the Bandarlampung City Center which is located in the Adipura Monument," said Head of Traffic at the Bandar Lampung Police, Kompol Ridho Rafika, as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, June 22.

He explained that the closure of traffic flow from the direction of Bambu Kuning Mall to the Adipura Monument was diverted via Jl. T. Umar Ruhaja Jl. Pemuda Jl. Hayam Wuruk Cambodia Cokro Sudirman Nusa Indah Diponegoro Rasuna Said Jl. Wolter Monginsidi out on Jl. Kartini.

Then the vehicle from Jl. Gatot Subroto to Tugu Raden Intan was diverted via Jl. Juanda Dr. Susilo Diponegoro Cutmutia Basuki Rahmat Emir M. Noer RA Kusuma Scouts ZA Pagar Alam Tugu Raden Intan.

"Then from the direction of Jl. Cut Nyak Dien to Jl. Kartini, it was temporarily closed during the use of the running participants," he said.

He said the diversion of traffic flow would take effect from 05.00 WIB to 08.00 WIB, specifically on the route that participants crossed.

"We have also carried out traffic engineering, this is to provide security and comfort for both participants and other road users," he said.

He also apologized for the inconvenience that might be caused during the activity, but the traffic engineering is temporary and officers have also been prepared at several points to help direct motorists.

"We also hope that the community can support this activity as a form of synergy between the Police and residents in commemorating Bhayangkara Day. Continue to obey the directions of officers in the field," he added.
