IPhone 17 Rumors Come In Lavender Color, But Only For One Model

JAKARTA - Apple is rumored to add a new touch of color to the iPhone 17 line with a choice of color Lavender or light purple. This color is between dark purple on the iPhone 12 and pale purple on the iPhone 14, giving a fresh but still feeling familiar feel.

The iPhone 17 line, which is likely to include devices such as the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Air, is said to have this lavender color variant. According to leaked images circulating on the Weibo platform, this color was originally referred to as Lilac.

However, Phone Arena reports that its official name is most likely a 'Levender'. The possibility of this name difference could be caused by an automatic translation error in the browser, which is often inaccurate.

Whatever the name, the presence of this new color adds to Apple's tradition of introducing purple in the previous generations of iPhone 12. The iPhone 12 comes with a deeper purple, while the iPhone 14 brings a more calm purple color. The Lavender color on the iPhone 17 appears to be between the two.

According to reports, this Lavender color will be exclusive to the standard iPhone 17 model. This is not unusual in the smartphone world. Many other brands also apply exclusive color strategies for certain models. For example, Samsung and Google often present special colors for just one variant of their devices.

That way, it is likely that the Lavender color will not be available for the iPhone 17 Plus or iPhone 17 Pro. It should be noted that all of this information is still rumory and has not been officially confirmed by Apple. It is also possible that other models in the iPhone 17 line will get their respective exclusive colors.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 line in mid-September 2025, according to their annual launch schedule. While there is no official date yet, Apple is likely to introduce this device at the upcoming fall event, most likely on WWDC.
