Taeyeon's Response To Questions That Claim To Be Appropriate To Join Girls' Generation

JAKARTA - Girls' Generation is one of the opening gates for the birth of female idol groups in South Korea. For more than ten years of existence in the music industry, their achievements have not only dominated in their country but have been able to reach abroad.

Even though they are not as active as they used to be, Girls' Generation members are still good friends and support each other. Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun for example. Even though they have left the SM Entertainment agency that has overseen them since their debut, the three of them are still friends with the five remaining personnel after Jessica left. They also emphasized, Girls' Generation is still around.

It's not just an achievement. Rumors and scandals also often accompany the success of this group. Most recently, a participant named Hong Min Ji attended a Voice Queen contest on the MBN television channel. He introduced himself as a former trainee from SM Entertainment 17 years ago who almost debuted with Girls' Generation.

Through this event Min Ji admitted that he was sad when he saw the Girls' Generation group debut. You see, he feels his place is there, with the group. After the broadcast of the Voice Queen episode, Girls' Generation leader and personnel, Taeyeon gave her response through Instastory.

“In order to debut with the group Girls' Generation, the eight of us put everything on track and gave everything we had long ago; this is not a group rushed into one day. While it is true that efforts were made to gather the best members, we spent time together before we were first shown to the public, and the group (Girls' Generation) is not like a bus station where everyone can stop while passing by.

I would appreciate it if people who didn't work hard with us refrained from confusing us by using the name Girls' Generation. "

Taeyeon's statement seemed to dismiss the statement given by Min Ji regarding her supposedly debuting with Girls' Generation.

This is not the first time that someone has claimed to be close to debuting with Girls' Generation. Previously, there was Stella Kim, who until now is known to be good friends with Girls' Generation personnel. There is also Park So Yeon who has become a member of the T-Ara group after previously being a trainee at SM Entertainment. However, this is the first time a Girls' Generation member has opened their voices about this issue.

Currently, Taeyeon is busy with promotions for her new album Purpose. While Girls' Generation with their sub unit Oh! GG still hasn't released new music after Lil 'Touch in 2018.
