The National Police Has Disbursed The Condition Of Children Victims Of Violence In South Jakarta To Improve After Two Operations

JAKARTA - The National Police conveyed the progress of medical treatment for children victims of alleged violence and neglect found in the South Jakarta (South Jakarta) area. Currently, the physical condition shows significant improvement after undergoing two operations.

It is known that the operation was carried out by the medical team of the Bhayangkara Hospital Level I Pusdokkes Polri. The first operation in the form of orthopedic surgery was carried out on June 14, 2025, while the second operation on June 18 was carried out to cover open wounds under the chin.

"Alhamdulillah, the two operations have gone well. Currently the condition of the child is in good health and continues to get a complete recovery, both physically and psychologically," said the Director of PPA and PPO Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Nurul Azizah, in his statement, Saturday, June 21.

Not only from the medical side, attention is also given to administrative aspects and social protection. The Social Service has facilitated the creation of BPJS Kesehatan for the victim's child with the status of an Abandoned Person (OT).

Nurul also emphasized that the National Police will continue to work to uncover the origins and identities of children, including the visum examination and the collection of evidence as the first step towards the investigation stage.

"The National Police leadership is fully committed to resolving this case by upholding the principle of child protection in every legal process carried out. We will not stop until the truth is revealed and children's rights are fulfilled fairly," he stressed.

He also invited the public to play an active role in helping this handling process.

Holistic and collaborative handling is the main key in ensuring that the victim's child can recover, grow, and live a better life. The National Police, together with all partners and elements of society, are committed to creating a safe and caring environment for the fate of Indonesian children, especially those who are victims of violence and neglect.

"We urge all levels of society to provide support, both morally and information that can help reveal the identity of the victim's child. Every support means a lot to the future of this child," said Nurul.
