Daniel Dubois Confident To Beat Oleksandr Usyk
JAKARTA British fighter Daniel Dubois has high confidence to beat Oleksandr Usyk and become the undisputed world champion.
Dubois and Usyk are scheduled to enter the ring for their fight at Wembley Stadium, London, England, on July 19, 2025. The winner of this duel will receive the status of world heavyweight champion.
Dubois admits that defeating Usyk to become the undisputed champion is the toughest task in his career. However, he believes he is able to give the best performance.
"So, I just need to fight as well as possible. Focus on dueling properly. I will beat him. I will do my job," he said.

The fight between the two names is eagerly awaited by boxing fans. Their fight tension has been hot since the two of them had a face-off at Wembley in April 2025.
Usyk then said that Dubois' actions encouraged him in the face-off to promote their duel was a weak point for his 27-year-old opponent.
In this latest statement, Dubois insisted that his act of pushing Usyk was a spontaneous incident and not a way to assert him.
"It was great fun. It was one of the things that happened in boxing and big fights like this, where everything was at stake. I was really looking forward to it," he said.
Dubois came to this fight with the status of holding the IBF heavyweight title. On the other hand, Uysk, a Ukrainian champion, came with the WBA (Super), WBO, and WBC championship belts.
Usyk, who has always won 23 fights (14 knockouts) before becoming the first undisputed world champion in the 21st century in May 2024 after stopping British champion Tyson Fury.
He then repeated his victory in their rematch in December 2024. Meanwhile, Dubois became the heavyweight world champion of IBF after stopping Anthony Joshua in September 2024.
