President Prabowo Subianto Holds Coins For President Putin's Gift

St, PETERSBURG - President Prabowo Subianto and Russian President Vladimir Putin looked very close when exchanging souvenirs. This happened after a bilateral meeting in St. Petersburg, Thursday, June 20.

President Vladimir Putin showed a book covered in chocolate which was a book written by President Prabowo entitled Military Leadership but has been translated into Russian.

President Prabowo Subianto then gave a souvenir of a miniature statue bearing the Garuda Bird symbol. President Putin then gave a gift of an officer's sword and then President Prabowo replied by giving a keris from Bali.

Uniquely, when exchanging souvenirs, President Prabowo was asked to hold the coins given by President Putin. According to President Putin, this is a tradition of giving gifts in Russia.
