BMAD Rejected By Government, Observer: APSYFI's Voice Only Represents Capital Intensive Industry
This received a response from the Director of Indonesian Political Houses, Fernando Gold, he said, the APSYFI vote only represents a few companies and cannot be a reference for the national TPT industry.
"They (APSyFI) only represent industries that are capital-intensive and not labor-intensive, while we are talking about the national TPT industry which represents labor-intensive industries and has a large number of employees," he explained.
He added, even though the Minister of Trade has said that the supply of certain synthetic filamentary threads to the domestic market is still limited because the national production capacity has not been able to meet the needs of the domestic user industry because most manufacturers of certain synthetic filamentary threads produce for their own use.

According to him, the BMAD process for certain synthetic filamentary threads does prove the government's support for the country's TPT industry in order to be able to develop and rise from adversity.
"Try to imagine if this BMAD was carried out, how many TPT industries would go bankrupt because the price of raw materials had risen, and the company would stop production and how many fates its employees would be subject to mass layoffs," he said.
